Is Skin Barrier Restoring Gel Cream safe to use if I’m prone to fungal acne (AKA malassezia folliculitis)?

Gel Cream isn’t considered fungal acne-safe because it has lipid-rich ingredients, which could feed Malassezia yeast. If you’re prone to fungal acne or just want something lighter, you might prefer our Barrier Balancing Water Cream!

Is this safe to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding?

We haven’t tested it on people who are pregnant or breastfeeding, but good news—it doesn’t contain any ingredients known to be unsafe during that time. If you’re still concerned, we recommend checking with your doctor to be sure it’s a fit for you.

Can I layer this moisturizer with actives?
