Is it made with natural ingredients?

Yes! We proudly source only natural & minimally processed ingredients. Tattoo Salve contains organic herbs, essential oils, cold-pressed solvent-free grapeseed oil, coconut oil, domestic beeswax, and Vit E. Please read our ingredients for more info.

Can it be used for old tattoos?

Tattoo Salve is perfect for use on both new and old tattoos! We love it for soothing itchy new ink, helping new tattoos heal faster, freshening up the vibrancy of healed tattoos, or even in place of an everyday lotion to keep skin moisturized.

Does it have a strong scent?

We lightly fragrance Tattoo Salve with essential oils of rosemary, thuja, and tea tree. We keep this scent mild to be tolerable for those with sensitive noses and gentle enough for application on sensitive skin. Noticeable, but not overwhelming!

Can it be used on sensitive skin?

Tattoo Salve can be used on sensitive skin, though when trying anything new, we strongly recommend a small spot test on healthy skin before applying all over your new tattoo. As with all products, discontinue use if irritation occurs.

How often should it be applied?

For new tattoos follow your artist’s instructions. For older tattos we’ve found best results when applying Tattoo Salve twice a day – once in the morning and once at night, or apply whenever your tattoo needs a little extra love. Listen to your skin!
